Most smart TVs can show your wall without a laptop. Each TV opens pixloud.app/tv, shows a 4-digit code, and you add it from your phone under Overview → Screens. The wall then opens on the TV by itself.

Samsung (Smart TV)

  1. Press Home on the remote and open the Internet app.
  2. Select the address bar, type pixloud.app/tv and press Enter.
  3. Add the 4-digit code on your phone under Overview → Screens.

LG (webOS)

  1. Press Home on the remote and open Web Browser.
  2. Type pixloud.app/tv in the address bar and press Enter.
  3. Add the 4-digit code on your phone.

Amazon Fire TV and Fire Stick

  1. Open Silk Browser (install it free from the Fire TV Appstore if you don't have it).
  2. Go to pixloud.app/tv and add the code on your phone.

Coming soon: a Pixloud TV app for Fire TV and Android TV that opens the code screen straight away.

Hisense

  • VIDAA models: open the Browser app from the home screen and go to pixloud.app/tv.
  • Google TV models: use a laptop with HDMI for now, or a Fire Stick. The Pixloud TV app is coming soon.
  • Roku TV models: Roku has no web browser. Plug in a Fire Stick or connect a laptop with HDMI.

Sony, TCL, Philips and other Google TV or Android TV sets

These need a browser app or a laptop for now. The Pixloud TV app for Android TV is coming soon.

Apple TV

Apple TV has no web browser, so mirror the wall from a Mac or iPad instead:

  1. On the Mac or iPad, open your wall link (or go to pixloud.app/tv and add it with its code).
  2. Open Control Center and tap Screen Mirroring, then choose the Apple TV.
  3. On a Mac, press Ctrl + Cmd + F so the wall fills the screen.

Roku, older TVs and projectors

Connect a laptop with an HDMI cable and open the wall in its browser, or plug a Fire Stick (about $25–40) into any HDMI port. A Fire Stick turns any TV or projector into a Pixloud screen.

Keep the screen on all event long

The wall keeps the screen awake by itself while it's open. Some TVs also switch off after a few hours without a remote button press, so before the event:

  • Samsung: Settings → General → Eco Solution (or Power and Energy Saving) → turn off Auto Power Off.
  • LG: Settings → General → Timers (or Energy Saving) → turn off Auto Off / 4 Hours Auto Power Off.
  • Fire TV: Settings → Display & Sounds → Screensaver → set Start Time to Never.
  • Projectors: turn off Auto Power Off / Eco sleep in the projector menu.
Tip

Each TV or browser window showing the wall uses one of your plan's screens. See Show the wall on a TV, projector or LED screen.
